What is a mental health immigration evaluation?

A mental health immigration evaluation is an independent, unbiased report provided by a mental health professional that assesses and documents the mental health related factors relevant for your immigration application. It can provide a personal perspective to your application while documenting the relevant clinical factors.

  • Yes! Sometimes people are unable to get to the office due to distance or other factors. All paperwork and assessments can be completed online. Interviews are then completed via videoconferencing on a secure, HIPAA compliant platform.

  • My fee for immigration evaluations is a flat fee of $1200. This includes coordinating with your attorney, reviewing any documentation, 2-3 hours of interview time, and the completed report. This fee is due the day of the interview.

Need an evaluation quickly? Expedited services may be available for an additional fee. This would be discussed and clearly communicated before scheduling an evaluation.

  • If you need or want to be interviewed in a language other than English, interviews can be conducted with a translator. Translators are provided by you or sometimes your attorney and cannot be someone you know to ensure the translation is unbiased. If you need help setting this up, just let me know!
